POSITION SUMMARY:
To support daily operations of the University of Vermont McClure Miller Respite House; Primary responsibilities are, maintaining grounds and facility, ensuring compliance with safety and emergency preparedness, oversee resident dining services, supporting the integration and compliance of Volunteer Services at the UVM McClure Miller Respite House, serving in the role of the UVM McClure Miller Respite House development and marketing ambassador, educating patients and families on overview of Hospice philosophy and roles of IDG members, Respite house policies and procedures including explaining and signing all residency agreements with residents or their designees, and maintaining the UVM McClure Miller Respite House non-clinical budget. The House Administrator will be primary in assuring quality of Respite House environment.
REPORTS TO: Clinical Manager of Hospice
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
I. Education:
Bachelor's Degree in social services, health care or business administration plus 5 years of experience working in a related field, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
II. Experience:
* Minimum two to three years of equivalent work experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired
* Microsoft certification would be helpful
